To All Apprentices Attending Bates South:

Our new building is complete and operating, ready for the 2008/2009 school year. In order to provide the best possible apprenticeship training, we no longer offer classes at Bates South Campus. The new "Training Center" in Seattle has a full size spray booth with heated air make-up, a commercial blast booth, full sized wall mock-ups and complete rooms with walls, windows and doors.

The Seattle classes are either at night from 5-9 pm, or you may attend "Block Training" classes that are one (1) week at a time all day long. Industrial Apprentices may also attend "Block Training" classes scheduled separately from Commercial Classes.

If you attend the Block Training classes, you may apply for Unemployment Benefits while you are in Apprenticeship classes, but you must have a waiting week before you can receive Unemployment Benefits. Three (3) weeks of Block Training will complete our entire school year. We try to schedule Block classes during the winter months, possibly a week in November, December and January.

Night classes for the 2008 school year begin the 1st week of September.

Tuesday night - 2nd Bracket

Wednesday night - 3rd & 4th Brackets

Thursday night - 5th & 6th Brackets

Block Training classes will be scheduled during the winter months. It is your choice to register for night classes or to go to Block Training.
